Very cute movie, I really liked the aesthetics(the girls have so many cute outfits.). The composition and framing of many shots are excellent. I also enjoyed the acting, and just how the characters behave; it feels quite different compared to traditional Hollywood blockbusters. Thematically, it’s an interesting exploration as well. However, I feel that the theme of the girl wanting to understand the killer’s motives wasn’t given proper justice and the theme of the girl wanting to connect with her mother is also a bit superficial. Finaly, there was no “WOW” element, story was okay, characters good, how the characters interact with each other great, it was more a relaxing slice-of-life movie. 6/10
